We are
going to celebrate "The Languages Week" in our school, where we are going
to show some cultural features of the languages you can
learn here. I would like to invite
you to participate in this activity.
Imagine you
are a journalist and you are going to write an article about a celebration in
an English speaking country. You
need a photographer to help you. He/She will take
care of the
"photos". Make a team with a friend.
Follow the topics and write your "article":
- Name of the celebration
- Country or countries where this special day is celebrated
- Date
- Why do they celebrate it?
- How do they celebrate it?
- Have we got a similar celebration in Portugal?
Note: Ilustrate your work.
Choose one of the following celebrations:
Anzac Day
Victoria Day
Bonfire Night
St. Patrick's Day
Columbus Day
St. Valentine's Day
Halloween
Thanksgiving Day
